Reaching the Airport:

Passengers have a variety of option by road to reach airport. One of the best and commercially viable solutions is to reach here through taxi or radio cabs. There are many cab services like Meru Cabs, Easy Cabs and KSTDC Cabs that can connect any part of the city to the airport. These cabs can cost you around Rs.1200 for a distance of 35 kilometres.

Another means to travel is through auto rickshaws. The passengers can be dropped at the interchange point between auto rickshaws and airport shuttle buses.

Municipal transport also operates the shuttle buses to airport by the name of Vayu Vajra. There is a fleet of 12 Volvo buses that run at certain intervals of time. This mode of transport cannot be trusted owing to the irregular nature of these buses.

Charter helicopter services are also available on request. They operate from the Electronics City, Whitefield and Mysore.
